The 2016 Gaborone International Airshow was held at the Sir Seretse Khama International Airport on the 24th of September to celebrate Botswana's 50th Independence Anniversary (30 September) as well as 50 years of aviation in Botswana. Aircraft: The C-130 flanked by 4 PC-7s, a CN-235, and, the BD-700 (Botswana Presidential Jet; OK1, Callsign Honesty) escorted by 2 CF-5s.
